Welcome to The Burly Dad Blog! My name is Jason and I'm here to share the real and unfiltered journey of fatherhood - actually, parenthood in general, everyone is welcome here.  My wife, Elizabeth, and I welcomed our son, Corbyn, to the world in February of 2022. It's been the best ride in the world. Don't get me wrong, there are ups and downs each and every day, but I wouldn't change that for the world.

So what is this place? This blog is a space to offer a dad's perspective on parenting – the highs, the lows, and everything in between. You can expect true stories from my daily life - times when I feel like a failure and times when I  feel like a hero in Corbyn's eyes - practical advice (use what's applicable and toss the rest), dad jokes, sports chatter, beard tips, and must-have parenting gear.
